NEWS FLASH:
The beginning of 2011 found many of us involved in a rescue on a massive scale in Hot Springs, MT. Over
1100 animals were rescued from a severely neglectful circumstance. There were several organizations that grouped together
to handle the needs of the many species of animals involved. There were 4 primary organizations who dealt with the greater
than 120 horses and donkeys: Montana Horse Sanctuary, Western Montana Equine Rescue & Rehab, Montana Animal
Care Association & Habitat For Horses. Donations are still needed to help fund this massive rescue & can be
made at: www.montanahorsesanctuary.org.
This rescue could not have happened without the countless hours from volunteers
- many thanks to all who were involved and helped to save these neglected animals.
